Gujarat-based Solarium Green Energy has landed two rooftop solar orders worth a total of ₹26.62 crore from NTPC’s trading arm, NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN), for projects slated for deployment across various Northeastern states under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Solarium Green Energy secured the first contract under the latest order, valued at ₹12.99 crore (exclusive of GST), on July 24, 2025, for the development of a 3,319 kW rooftop solar project across multiple sites. The company explained, “The order was issued under NVVN’s tender for the Selection & Discovery of L1 Rates for Rate Contract for EPC of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar PV Projects (51–200 kW) across India (Bid Ref: NVVN/C&M/RE-301/2024-25, dated September 19, 2024).”

Under the second order, the company secured a 3,443 kW rooftop solar project valued at approximately ₹13.63 crore (exclusive of GST). This contract was awarded under NVVN’s bid for EPC of rooftop solar PV projects ranging from 201–1,000 kW (dated September 19, 2024).

About Solarium Green Energy

Solarium Green Energy, based in Gujarat, has been active in India’s distributed solar segment, particularly rooftop solar deployments for institutional and government clients. The newly awarded projects are part of broader efforts to expand clean energy access in remote and underserved areas in India’s Northeast, a region often challenged by terrain and infrastructure constraints.

The company has been ramping up solar projects in the rooftop segment. In the financial year 2025, especially in the residential rooftop segment — which remains its primary focus and contributed 37% of its total revenue — the company reported strong growth. Additionally, the company disclosed that it holds L1 bidder status in 38 out of 45 categories under NTPC-distributed rooftop solar tenders across multiple Indian ministries.
